Harbour House overlooks West Bay Harbour. It enjoys a sunny, sheltered position beside the old boat green. A number of small shops and the bus stop are close by, and West Bay Church is within easy walking distance. For those residents who are Quakers, the local Friends’ Meeting House is just two miles away in Bridport, the nearest town. Transport to Meeting for worship is arranged each Sunday.
West Bay, also known as Bridport Harbour, is a small harbour settlement and resort on the Jurassic Coast in West Dorset, sited at the mouth of the River Brit approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Bridport.
The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site and stretches from Orcombe Point near Exmouth in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage in East Dorset, a distance of 96 miles (155 kilometres).
